Pls can some one help me .I started feeling symptoms of pregnancy since October last year ,February last and I see my menstruation every months and I became confused cos its not my first pregnancy. I went to hospital and I was diagnosed negative ,in ultrasound retained conception was found ,another hospital I was diagnosed normal ,this month my menstruation appear again ,my belly is not too big and I went to another hospital yesterday the doctor use Doppler it was confound that the baby is there ,at that very moment I did pt test and it was negative .pls I need advice cos I'm tired and confused thanks.

If the scans are showing pregnancy then you are pregnant. Your dr is the best to give definitive advice x

A pregnancy test will show negative after 12 weeks since the hormone HCG is no longer present as the placenta starts working from then.

If you've had ultrasound scans and a doppler and they have detected a baby and a heartbeat then you are pregnant.

If the ultrasound scan is not showing a baby then you are not pregnant.

If you've had signs since October then you should be in your 2nd trimester, 5/6 month around 20+ weeks and a baby of that size is not small on ultrasound.

You may not have a belly because you body is just not showing yet and the fact that you still came on your period is normal. Some women have bleeding which may be confused as period during pregnancy.

My godmother had her period for 4 months on time and normal flow, her at home pregnancy test and blood test at gp were negative, she went for scan and they told her your already 4 month pregnant.

I did a pregnancy test at week 18 and it was an obvious positive, the HCG hormone decreases but it doesn't completely disappear.

Negative tests, period, retained product, normal scan, but only the Doppler has found a heartbeat? No wonder your confused you really need to get your doctor to confirm either way

Yea only the Doppler found the heart beat

This is very strange, have you done a morning pregnancy test? Perhaps later in the day your urine is too dilute to show a positive? When you heard the baby on the doppler was it a fast heart beat, not just the slow whooshing of a placenta? If you actually heard the babies heartbeat then you must be pregnant, otherwise how could there be a heartbeat? I would be demanding some answers from the doctors and midwives right now, this sounds like a real mind f*ck.

The heartbeat was fast even the doctor was surprise I'm confused

If the dr found a heartbeat then they should refer you to the pregnancy clinic in order that you can have scans and midwife appointment. Please follow up with the doctor to arrange this xc

Hey there well I dis 2 urine test both came back negative and the blood test came back negative, I still had pregnancy symptoms so I went for a scan and they saw the gestational sac but I was really early at the time so I have another scan the 29th of March had my period so far every month will but it's not like my noreal period it's a bit weird at times. But I'm hoping to see my little jellybeanon the 29th.

Hi have u had any second opinions? You could be missing out on scans, vaccinations vitamins etc if you are pregnant. I would ask for another ultrasound scan with someone who knows what they are talking about
