been getting pregnant symptoms but tests are negative.

So, I’m currently due on Saturday, have used cheap tests and a couple were negative but one came up which looked to me like a positive but very very faint line. Done a clear blue digital but said ‘ not pregnant ‘ when took it apart to look at the strip there was a line and another faint one. Not sure what is going on. Boobs have been so achy and itchy last couple of days and weeing more. No idea if I’m pregnant or not :/

Hi you may not get a positive till after you have missed a period. Do u mind me asking y u have taken a test when you haven’t missed a period yet. I understand if you may be trying for a baby etc hope you don’t think I’m too noisy.

Because I’m not 100 when my period is due, I know it’s this week sometime, but I didn’t know if I was a couple days late which is why I done the test.

And can u get a false neg on clear blue ?

Generally not. A positive is a positive- but it may be very light as too early to test. Try again in a couple of days. And good luck to you xx

I took a clear blue test the day before I was due my period and it was negative - so yes they do give false negatives at times! All tests can give false negatives if u take them before your missed period!

I took the test again a few days later and it revealed I was pregnant.

Although these tests say they can tell 6days before missed period it is not 100% accurate
