Stopped mid pack of the pills. 7 days late but negative pt.

I took pt last month and came out faint positive so my doctor said to stop the pills (mid pack) my period never came this month supposedly december 30 to january 2. Im 7 days late. I tried to take pt earlier but came out negative. My breasts are sores, mu aerola is darkening. Could i ovulated when i stopped the pill? And thats the only time the baby was created?

Had you missed a period previously, when the first test showed as a faint positive? If the doc told you to stop taking your pills because they suspected you were pregnant then maybe you were already pregnant last cycle!

I'm not sure 100% on how many weeks, but I know that after so many weeks pregnant, a pregnancy test will show a false negative (negative, when you really are pregnant) because the hormone HCG that it detects can drop off after a number of weeks. If you're worried about lack of period, I'd suggest going back to the doctors and explaining the previous positive test and the no show of period this time round. They might do a more accurate test/scan to see
