Sciatica in pregnancy

Hi All

I developed terrible sciatica and subsequently became pregnant - now I am at a loss as to what treatments I could actually still do...

physio and osteopathy didn’t help me, taping helped a tiny bit but not much. I’m seeing a spine specialist today to confirm the diagnosis (likely bulging / slipped disc) but what can be done after? Have any of you had spinal injections for sciatica while pregnant? Did any of you do an MRI? Thanks for any insights

I haven’t been diagnosed with sciatica but was with bursitis before pregnancy and it’s now causing some sciatica pain, like you I’ve had no relief from physio but have been having Acupunture to help relieve some of the pain and just tried to manage my day the best I can.

I hope you get some answers from the specialist today xx
