38 weeks today! Showing no signs of labour anytime soon

Feeling desperately fed up and just want to meet Baba now, my body is showing no signs of getting ready is this normal? It's my first pregnancy

It is normal hun, that’s why women say the last few weeks of pregnancy drags so much. Not everyone notices their bodies getting ready, you can get braxton hicks and the baby can look like it’s going further down the pelvis (dropped) but it doesn’t always happen. Women’s bodies are amazing they know what to do when the time comes it will be ready. Xx

I had no signs whatsoever. I went overdue by 12 days. I had no pains or mucus plug either. I had to be induced in the end x

I had no Braxton Hicks (that I was aware of) a tiny ‘show’ 3 days before and nothing else until 4am one morning and the cramps kicked in, I had a bigger ‘show’ and she was here by 9:24am, first for me too so I wouldn’t worry about not having any signs 😊 just try to enjoy the peace and quiet whilst you can x
