Hi Everyone,

How many day's after a positive OPK (Ovulation Test) can you do a pregnancy test?

My ovulation app showed that I finished my fertile period yesterday (Alongside ovulation symptoms) And I've been having unprotected sex for the last 10 days every day.

Thanks

EM

Most doctors will advise you to wait till the day after your missed period for greatest accuracy ( especially if your cycles are regular)

I got a positive test 15 days post Lh surge- I waited until I was sure my period wouldn’t come- really find negative tests upsetting. I’m 11 weeks.

Good luck hope you get a positive test xoxo

14 days from ovulation but some tests can possibly pick up earlier

10DPO can get you a faint positive if you have the tests that test from 10 rather than 25 in terms of hormone level.

The digital ones are all 25, I think. It all depends when exactly you ovulated etc and waiting until the day you miss your period is certainly better but you can get results sooner than that.
