It depends on when you are having it. Have you been trying to get pregnant? Have you been charting? Checking for ovulation? Taking temperature? Checking cervical mucus?

Xx

Me and my partner have only just begun trying for a baby. We have been "active" during the right times but no luck so far. Maybe i am just being impatient with my body

This will help.

In the meantime do you know when you ovulate? Have you ever had any issues with your periods? Does your other half have a healthy balanced diet?

Try every other day throughout the month

Are you wanting to get pregnant? If not maybe use protection.

If you are trying to get pregnant there could be a number of reasons why it hasn't happened.

There are only like 5 days (I think) per cycle where you can actually conceive on x

If you’ve just started then no don’t be worried can take months or up to a year after a year go see a dr. But loads of people don’t get pregnant straight away.

Only one in six couples get pregnant the first month. Around one in six couples will go on to have infertility problems, taking more than one year to fall pregnant or not at all. So basically nearly everyone else falls pregnant at some point during the first year of trying. You don’t need to worry until you’ve been trying a year.

You don't really need to worry. One only worries when one has had unprotected sex for a period of 12 months without conception and at the appropriate time. The most important thing here being the timing. If you keep making love at the wrong time , if you like do it hundred times, you will not see the fruit of your labour. Hence the importance of timing. I heard some persons asking you, whether you know when you ovulate. If you can establish when you do this, you challenges is half taken care of. Note everyone woman has her unique cycle- menstrual cycle. It can be 20, 22, 24, 28 , 25, 27,30,32,35, etc. Most literatures you see today, base their calculations of ovulation using 28 day cycle which seems to be the most common cycle. Ovulation is a mid cycle occurrence. That means if you have a 20 day cycle , your are most likely to ovulate on day 10; 22 - day 11, 28 - day 14, 30 - day 15 etc. If you have an odd number cycle like 29. What it means you might ovulate on day 14.5. This simply means it can still happen late day 14 or day 15 even. So if you are planning to conceive, it is advisable you eat very well, take folic acid daily and your partner will equally need to feed well too. He can eat plenty foods like banana, yogurt etc. And might need some sexual rest from the start of your cycle. Your cycle starts with the menstrual bleed. So the day you start bleeding is the first day of your cycle and you count it as your day one. Avoid sex which the first few days of your cycle to start close to your mid cycle or even the day of your ovulation.

Hope this helps.
