8 weeks pregnant - symptoms reduced

Hi. I am just 8 weeks pregnant. I feel like my body has stopped giving me the pregnancy signs and symptoms. I didn’t have many before but the odd stomach cramp , tiredness, mild nausea and sensitive boobs now and then.

But I have felt little of these the past two days ... is this normal? I am not wishing for morning sickness but I felt reassured that I had some minor symptoms now I am worried something is wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 😘

As long as you're not in pain and have no bleeding, you should be fine hun.

All of my symptoms went at 14 weeks and I was constantly worried until 17 weeks when my nausea came back with a vengeance! Symptoms can come n go throughout the pregnancy, try not to worry.

You can always pay for a private scan as they scan from 8 weeks onwards. We had our private one at 10 weeks, so glad we did because it eased my mind a bit x

Thanks so much for your reply. Its reassuring to know that this is normal. Where did you get the private scan done? I feel it will be along 4 weeks waiting for the routine 12 weeks, but don't want to be unnecessarily worrying.

They'll have private clinics around you hun. Ours was called life through the lens in Stoke-on-Trent. Just type into Google private baby scan clinics n the place that you life n it should come up there. It cost us £45 for a 15 minute reassurance scan and we got pictures and a DVD with it but obviously different places will have different packages but just gives you a rough idea :) x

My pregnancy symptoms came and went during the first trimester, it was terrifying but doesn't mean anythingis wrong and can be totally normal.
