Planning ahead for weaning LO

I would like advice regarding starting my LO on solids. she is 4+ months and exclusively breastfed. i am waiting till 6 months before stating but i want to be prepared.

Any advice will be aappreciated

Ask your health visitor about weaning clinics and definitely go for it if they have one as it gets you started on the basics. There are two main ways to wean:- puret or baby led weaning (blw) Some people stick to one way, some mix it up, it’s all about having a try and seeing what you and your baby prefer. I went with BLW only and had a positive experience. My 1 year old is still a very good eater. Some people however hate the mess! I must admit the aftermath of every meal is pretty spectacular! X

I was trying to reply but it won'the let me type more on that message.

I was lucky enough to have good health visitors at my local children's centre. I used to take my son to baby brasserie and we got so much advice there. We chose baby led weaning but we did help our son now and then if he was tired or struggling which is supposedly a big no no with baby led weaning lol. We will do the same with our daughter.

Definitely speak to your health visitor.
