I'm 8 Days Late For My Period

Hello, I'm currently 8 days late for my period. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5 months, I had been tracking my period and ovulation but after no luck I stopped tracking my ovulation but kept up with my period just in case. Earlier this month my boobs were so sore it hurt to be hugged but I never thought anything about it, plus I'm not someone that takes naps but here lately I've fallen asleep at random times and my back has been hurting. However I haven't had any morning sickness and I don't see any more darkness or veins in my breast than normal. Then come to find out I'm late for my period and I've been waiting to see if it would come but still hasn't. Should I wait longer before taking a pregnancy test or should I give it a go?

It sounds positive to me, you should be able to do a test by now, good luck xx

Thanks! I'm nervous but thinking about testing in the morning. A couple days ago I was having light cramps but they felt noticeably different than my normal period cramps but I brushed it off as pre period cramps but now I'm thinking it could've been conception 😊

Why not give it a go ? If it comes negative wait till another week or two and try again.. wishing you all the best. I just removed my iud on the 15th trying to conceive as as well first time with hubby. Hope everything goes well x
