Help with excessive salivation

I am 25 weeks pregnant. I have a problem with excessive salivation. I don't know what to do. I can hardly hold a 5mins conversation without spiting. Please, is anyone going through this? I need advice or remedies to stop it. It is making me feel dirty and depress. I have tried brushing my teeth several times a day but still...... It only stops when I am eating. Please, any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hello,

I've had this from 8 weeks pregnant (currently 11+5). I can't get rid of it either.

I feel your pain, it's so hard! I'm constantly having to spit and just feel so fed up with it.

The only thing I've found to be slightly helpful is to chew on gum (hubba bubba for me as I can't stand mint stuff now). It only helps a little as I feel more able to swallow the saliva this way.

Would be great to hear if anyone has any advice on how to get rid of it xxx

Hi Amanda86,

It is really sad. I can't stand mint either and anything sweet. I changed my tooth paste to Corsodyl to avoid mint and sweetness but the struggle goes on. Let's hope we get some advice as we are in the same boat.

Just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant. I’m having lots of saliva constantly except when eating. Is it too early for preg symptoms? Help?
