Missed miscarrige????????

Hi I am approx 9 weeks pregnant. My last pregnancy was 10 years ago and ended in a missed miscarriage, about this time. I am so anxious that it will happen again. My symptoms, feeling sick, exhausted and sore boobs are lessening but haven't gone completely. Does this mean I'm having another miscarriage or just that the symptoms are easing?? I did another home test today which was positive but I'm not reassured! I haven't had any bleeding or spotting but I do get cramping which I've had all the way through. I hope I'm just being paranoid but any advice would be great.

I know exactly how you feel, last March I had a missed miscarriage followed by erpc op, and 3 months later I was pregnant again, but at 8 weeks symptoms disappeared again just like before I was so worried I phoned my GP who referred me for a early scan, thankfully all was fine and currently here typing as I feed 4 month old baby girl! Phone GP and if he doesn't refer you maybe, go to local hospital, Tell them about cramping and symptoms going hopefully they then will scan you, but you are probably worrying over nothing. My symptoms disappearing the second time were thankfully nothing to worry about, but phone GP!

The other option is to get a private scan. They cost about £60 and could put you at ease before the nhs one

Thank you. I have looked into a private scan but hubby isn't keen, he says what will be will be so i should stop worrying and wait for my 12 week scan! Easy for him to say though!

My symptoms were really on and off for the first 11 weeks and then pretty much disappeared completely! I was really worried but similar to you hadn't had any bleeding or cramps. It's hard but enjoy the time when you don't feel like rubbish- ha ha! As you could wake up tomorrow really sick again! The only other thing you can do like someone's already said is to get a private scan. I wish I'd done that rather than anxiously waiting. But on the other hand, I'm now 33 weeks and you never relax and never take it for granted that things are going to be fine no matter how far along you are! Good luck x

Hi Hun I know exactly what your going through and to be on the safe side and to be able to rest I would go to the GP or midwife and explain you anxiety! I was expecting twins and they stopped growing at 8 weeks had to have a D&C at 12 weeks to have them removed but please don't hesitate just do what feels right for you. Wish you all the best ! I'm trying again now after 2 months xx
