I got a couple of those quick stabbing pains I'm 18+3, they then shifted to the left hand side and got quite a few that side. Only noticed it this week as usually its just cramping. Mind you my bump seems like it's getting huge so i put it down to stretching since it wasn't that often.

How often are yours?

Hi if your concerned ask your gp however i had these throughout your body is expanding in all places you didnt think possible lol and although you cant feel it baby is still kicking about and knocking into things i think anything to worry about would have more symptoms and wouldnt come and go it would just stick i put it down to growing pains and baby doing its thing, cramping and swelling in the legs and feet would be more of a concern id say just mention it to your hv or gp next time you see her from experience its normal :) enjoy xx

When i say you cant feel it i mean towards the back so if babies kicking inwards you wouldnt feel an actual kick but more of an ache perhaps if that makes sense 😂

Have you heard of 'round ligament pain'?

It's when your ligaments stretch to accommodate your growing baby. Completely normal and you're getting them at exactly the right time in your pregnancy.

Hi, i had those pains, it's like you're getting stabbed down there. Apparently it's normal and its due to everything stretching inside and i think around this time the uterus is being pulled upward, I wouldn't worry unless you have any other symptoms like bleeding for example but if you're not sure call your midwife.

All sounds normal. I'm 28 weeks now and at about week 16 or 17 I started to get aching/stabbing/sharp pains every so often that I feel are related to my growing uterus. These always go away though and aren't unbearable, just a bit strange and like period type pains. I think that, unless pains are on-going (don't go away) or accompanied by blood loss then it's probably just a normal sign. I've had to get used to not reading into pain too much!
