Hi Victoria. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and I can't believe how quickly this one has flown by! Apart from spd, the pregnancy has been problem free so far! How about you?
Morning Kelly,
I'm not far behind you, 26wks today. The beginning part of pregnancy was worry but junior seems to be happy & growing strong. I have noticed in this pregnancy, I am a lot more tired but other wise it's going well. I've been getting lower back & abdo ache but don't think it's SPD, just shifting centre of gravity 😊
Do you know the gender?
Hey VictoriaH1 I am 26 weeks and 4 days today and feeling good. My little one moves a lot more now, and I can feel it a lot more frequently than before.
Not so much loving the double chin that is developing though
I allowed myself cake/chocolate whereas pre-pregnancy I didnt, so it could be a combination of that and normal pregnancy weight gain - or just swelling. but this morning bump didnt want chocolate, she wanted melon and strawberries, so I devoured a bowl of them instead.
How are you feeling?
xxx
25 weeks today and just about saying bye bye to my belly button, haha!
Low-level worries that time is short and going by fast, but otherwise feeling okay about things. We're measuring a bit small for date just at the moment but not drastic and my husband is only 5'4" so not worrying about that just yet.
Oh, and I'm really thirsty all day - wouldn't mind so much if it was needed but it all seems to want to be peed back out again...
Good luck everyone!
Hi VictoriaH1 - how are you getting on? Do you know the sex of the baby? I think I too might be getting some back pain, think it will be in the post...!
I'm 24 weeks tomorrow. Feeling good (so much better than first trimester!) although get little puffs of exhaustion - I think my mind needs to catch up with body - i.e. I think I can do everything I used to pre-pregnancy - hahahaha - as if....! My body reminds me if I try and do too much. Working full time, so I think even getting up at 5.50am is wearing me out a bit more.
Been starting to feel this little one a bit more, which is lovely as I was freaking out about it a few weeks ago. All looking good so far says midwife. Although I'm worried it's going to be very big - Matt is 6'5 and I'm 5'11....eek...
Hope everyone is ok and feeling well x
Hi Miss_slinky,
I have a blue bump 😊 A nice addition to my 2 pinks already.
Glad to hear you're feeling baby more. Did they tell you where your placenta is laying?
Ooooh great stuff, but you'll both be chuffed.
Yeah it's at the back xx
Did you keep the gender a surprise?
No, it's a little boy! Couldn't wait that long! I knew all along it was a boy. I said to Matt the night before the 20 week scan, that I didn't know what I would do if it was a girl as I'd been saying from the start it was a boy and truly believed it was. He was like "well Marion, it's 50/50, you better prepare yourself!". I don't care either way but I'd just thought it was a boy from the start. And it is!
