Hi ladies, I been taking pregnacare one teaspoon a day instead of two for abut a month now. And I am about 11 weeks pregnant. Would that be a problem for not taking correct dose. I didn't read the package properly :'( just realised.

So you.ve been taken half the dose? To be honest it's unlikely to cause any major issues. Im not always great at remembering my vitamins and my first child was absolutely fine. Of course try to take the correct dose from now on, but I wouldn't worry about what's already happened.

I was quite sick from week 8-16 and there were days I did not eat a thing - forget about vitamins!

If you're not sick and eating balanced diet / you most likely don't need all 2 spoons anyway. My stepsister is not a fan of vitamins and this is her 2nd pregnancy and she never took any.

I read that if you don't intake the right amount of vitamins etc - specially at this early stage - then if they are available in your body: the baby will take all nutrients from you and baby won't suffer.x
