Yes and no. Depends on the type of cheese. You should avoid unpasteurised cheese as well as rind cheese (Brie, Camembert etc), and soft blue cheese. Have a look at the NHS choices for a full list of food
Soft cheese such as Philadelphia is a pasteurised product. Pregnant women are advised not to eat un-pasteurised cheese.x
I generally only ate the hard rind cheeses when they had been cooked at a high temperature. I love goats cheese so would only have it on pizza for example xxx
