Hey, 38 plus 2, getting really watery discharge for past couple of days wondering if my waters are going slightly and whether I should call triage? Baby is still active so no concerns there any advice?

Worth calling triage. My waters never went but I've been told they tend to be more of a gush in general, but no harm in calling triage
Absolutely phone your maternity unit.
The consistency of the waters coming out varies depending on where they have broken the sack/membrane surrounding your baby. If you imagine the sack/membrane breaking directly beneath the head then it is likely you will feel a gush of water before the head drops and "plugs" the leakage which then leads to an occasional leakage. However, if you imagine the sack breaking at the top of your abdomen, above your baby then you won't feel a gush as that's not how gravity works. Pressure in you abdomen from something like coughing or stretching or changing your position to a horizontal one will cause small leakages out of the hole which will then trickle between your uterus and the sack/membrane until it reaches the bottom and comes out through the birth canal. This presents as a small but frequent leak as you've described.
It is important that you have any queries about your waters breaking checked at the hospital as once the waters have gone the sterile environment your baby is existing in is no longer sterile. This causes an increased risk of infection to both you and your baby when the waters have gone which requires professional assistance.
When you go to the hospital be sure to take any wet pads or underwear with you. It helps to provide a full clinical picture for the maternity team which may speed things up for you.
Hope all that makes sense and good luck.
Thanks for the advice, I will call them tomorrow It stopped all evening then just came back
It won't let me upload a picture or anything either
I wonder where you're at now...
