Hello..

I have been suffering bad cramps in my stomach since 8:30pm last night. The pain is travelling in to my back. I'm also feeling sick and think I have really bad acid, as I'm burning up chest and feel as though stuff is sitting in my throat. I can't handle this anymore I'm not sleeping and in so much discomfort and pain!

Could you have a urine infection? I ended up in hospital other week at 26weeks with horrendous back pain I couldn't move... turned out I had a urine infection that was travelling to my kidneys so pain was awful. Ring your midwife explain symptoms n see what she says but I felt thr same as you.. felt as rough as a dog wanted throw up and kept getting temperatures. Might be worth a visit to get her check you over and your urine. Hope this helps.

P.s try at hot water bottle on your back or a bath make sure someone is around if you go in the bath incase you get stuck... my pain was that bad I got stuck in Bath couldn't move lol x

So I called the midwife, she passed me to triage, triage have passed me to the doctor and the doctor is annoyed that I've called. Feeling completely shunned and as if I'm wasting their time! Looks like I'll suffer in silence.

It's a pain.i know how you feel I've been passed round like that before with my preeclampsia. Don't let them tell you how you feel. If you're in pain screw them. If the doctors aren't helping then make i5 clear when you go 5o triage o4 midwife that you don't have a good relationship with your doctor and would prefer to remove them from the equation and they'll probably try to sort it themselves. Ring midwife again explain you're still not right and thst the doctor didn't fill you with confidence but pushed you away and was annoyed you went your midwife would have referred you to triage if she thought it was serious enough.. triage is always busy so they refer to gp to avoid getting cases where it's a urine infection so it's leaves their beds open for women who are bleeding or whatever. But if you can't get answer from your gp then go back to triage or tell the receptionist at gp you want a urine sample sending off as uou believe uou have a urine infection. My doctors always send it off for me. Make eu4e you hwv3 your name s5ickers from you4 notes to put on the urine sample.

Yeah it was absolutely ridiculous. I am being treated for a blood clot on my lung and a few other minor/moderate issues that can be sorted with medication etc.. the health professionals are ridiculous they should honestly be ashamed of their selves. I am filing a complaint to the midwife and doctor who turned me away and if it weren't for my mum I honestly wouldn't have called back. So I'm now wondering if I didn't go see anyone and just left this what would have happened could I have collapsed, worse off does, caused serious harm to my baby. All because they were to busy to care!! It's a farse. X

Best to go and get checked out! might be a urine infection as already mentioned. I used to get acid really bad and had to get gaviscon on prescription.
