Are you sure you are pregnant? I know it sounds daft but you got a positive pregnancy test not just assuming from a missed period or symptoms right?
Really no one can make the decision for you if you should keep the baby or not. Have you discussed this with your husband at all? Of course I can understand you are concerned about your health and weight, however you can do something about your weight even when pregnant. I attend slimmingworld (I don't mean this as an advert) but they also cater for pregnant women of course this is something worth discussing with your midwife if you go down that road.
Having a child is hard work but it's also rewarding. At times you want to scream out loud but they also make you smile and loved.
How far along are you? Don't panic. There are a number of practical considerations you an focus on right now to help calm your mind. Regardless of what you end up doing, you'll need to see your gp to check everything is ok. They'll also be able to talk you through your options or refer you to the early pregnancy clinic. If you chose to keep the baby you'll also need to start taking folic acid and other pregnancy vits as well as give up alcohol and moderate your diet. It is actually possible to safely and comfortably lose weight during the first stages of pregnancy. Bringing a child into this world is amazing and daunting at the same time. Even the most committed parents find it a challenge, especially these first few months when you have choices. My own circumstances were slightly different but I found a counsellor/therapist specialising in assisting women, she has been a godsend still helping me to this day to keep it all together. Your GP could recommend or you could google for a service near you.
