I'm now 8 weeks gone and I have a 20mm cyst that has ruptured and bled, the pain I get doesn't seem to be subsiding and I refuse to take the morphine they prescribed me. The pain is so bad some days I can't even get out of bed. Has this happened to anyone else ???

Cyst during pregnancy
If the pain is subsiding then I wouldn't take morphine either. Paracetamol is safe throughout pregnancy but ibuprofen should only be taken in the second trimester. If you really need morphine you can use it (as little as possible). Morphine is worse later on in pregnancy as it can cause dependency in baby. I've not had a cyst problem just the general back/sciatica pain. Congrats
Sorry to hear you've had this hiccup early in your pregnancy. I also have had an ovarian cyst. Mine was 69mm at its largest but has begun to shrink. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant.
If Morphine been prescribed to you then it will be safe to take. However if you can manage without then that's great. I had dyhdracodeine in pregnancy which is a bit stronger than paracetamol but still safe.
I would go back to the GP if paracetamol isn't doing the trick.
Take care and all the best.
