I am 11 weeks pregnant and couldn't be happier, although I am slightly concerned as I found out I was pregnant at about 4 weeks and had drank heavily on a few occasions for friends birthdays etc. Do you think this could have harmed my baby at this early stage. As soon as I found out I have stopped drinking but am still worried about those first few weeks?
Please help!

Don't worry, I think a lot of us have had this happen! I know with my first I did drink not knowing I was pregnant during the first 6 weeks (morning sickness then kicked in at 6 weeks and couldn't even smell alcohol without being sick for the rest of the pregancy) and she is a happy, healthy 12 year old. I did worry and spent too much time googling the affects of alcohol on the baby and stressing myself out when it is people that regularly drink heavily that are at risk of causing damage and even then often the baby is born healthy. Enjoy your pregnancy and don't stress or blame yourself for something that is incredibly rare and very unlikely to happen.
This happens to a lot of people, i shouldn't think you have any need to worry if you stopped drinking at 4 weeks. The first few weeks are implantation etc so it's a little bit later on that the nervous system etc is being formed. Your baby will be fine x
Hey I don't think you have anything to worry about. When I was pregnant with my little girl, I went out for New Year's Eve when I was about 4 weeks pregnant (before I knew) and got really really drunk -as you do on New Year's Eve lol - and I worried about it the whole time but she was absolutely fine. Xx
