Pregnant again

Hi, I had a miscarriage in December I had a cervical ectopic and just found out we're pregnant again... does anybody know if I'll be able to have a early scan to check the same hasn't happened again? Or should I just get my hcg levels checked?

After going through that, you will always fear the worse, but it need not be. In my area only your midwife can refer to EPA ( early pregnancy) and they will only see you 7 weeks or after. So check with your team. You can certainly ask for it, I'm sure they would send you. Good luck

I had an ectopic pregnancy 10 months prior to finding out I was pregnant with my daughter.I first saw my gp who arranged for a early pregnancy scan as I had had a small bleed( implantation not a problem but I was concerned) and was worried. All was well and my happy healthy 10month old is crawling and developing well. If your worried arrange to see your gp and ask for a early scan.

I had a tube removed due to an ectopic last may. I was told to self refer to the early pregnancy unit as soon as I knew I was pregnant Again. Might be worth phoning the EPU yourself. I was told I would need hcg blood test s and early scan next time.

To make sure as early as possible it was in the right place ad you are at a higher risk of a repeat ectopic.

Hi, do you mean you had ectopic pregnancy or cervical ectopy? If so I have this (cervix issue) I had 2 miscarriages last year and don't know if it was due to this or this had happened as a result of it. I was non the wiser until at 6 weeks I had some brown loss so thought the worst was happening again, I had my booking appointment with Dr and expressed my concerns and she wasn't having any of it and just basically said there is nothing I can do up about it up if I am which I am fully aware of. Anyway, next day I phoned my actual routine GP and he ended up referring me for a scan and everything was ok and that's when I had my cervix examined. I'm now 10 weeks and still haven't had a call from midwife even though I have had 2 miscarriages and have had problems with this pregnancy also. They only refer you in for a scan if you are in pain/bleeding etc. Wrong I know, it's horrible waiting to know if everything is ok.
