Mucus plug at 32 plus 3 days and lower back pain and lots of Braxton Hicks!!!!

I am 32 plus 3 days and noticed the mucus plug in the morning which I just dismissed as it was not much and the again in the evening. This is baby number 4, has any one had it this early and baby held up until due date, I was due to be offered a sweep at 38 weeks to avoid any complications. Hope little one stays in until at least 37 weeks. I don't want her to be a premie. I started Mat leave this week, thank God, so taking it easy and resting as much as possible.....................

Hi, Any developments? I know that mucus plugs can be displaced but then reform again so that's not necessarily an indicator of labour coming... sounds like you're doing the right thing putting your feet up though

Hi there, thanks for your reply. No new developments yet, however being woken up by slight pains since but not progressing to anything major. I am sure little one is comfortable and hanging in there at least for now, more and more pressure from down below, I was told by my Midwife she was already head down, so am sure that is the reason for that. Everything seems fine so just relaxing and waiting for that time.
