My 9 months old baby is teething and what should i give him to ease the pain?
Hi, when my son was teething I found that the teething powder worked really well either nelsons teetha or Ashton and parson infant powders we found they worked them same and you can find them in most height street shops that stock baby health products. And as long as it's not a dramatic drop in weight I should not worry too much as long as he is drinking but if your worried take him to the doc even if it's just for your piece of mind. X
I agree with Outnumbered. Teething powders and see the doctor if you're worried about weight loss. You can also give Calpol or Baby Nurofen if he's in a lot of pain. You could try giving him sticks of cold cucumber straight from the fridge and there are teething biscuits called Bickiepegs which he might find help cut those teeth. One of my mummy friends put a muslin in the fridge and gave it to her little one to chew on and there are numerous teething toys on the market, some go in the fridge so they're cold too. There's Bonjela or Nelson's teething gel too or anbesol liquid - ask in a pharmacy.

Teething powders work best for me, try to avoid the gels as they can have sugars in them which won't be good for any little teeth emerging x
Thanks guys for your advice. Mrsturner17 Do you know if I can get the teething powder from tesco?
Calpol really helps my LO with teething pain. He likes to chew the wooden spoon handle and wooden clothes pegs from his treasure basket, they're a great shape to get around his existing teeth to the sore gums.
