It should say on the packet. The ones I used to have say no. Check with GP/ pharmacist. There are different kinds and they should be able to advise.
I was prescribed some by the gp with my 1st (3yrs ago so advice may have changed) that were OK while bf'ing but many aren't so best check with your gp.
Lots of drugs are safe to take while breastfeeding even though the packets and often the GPs say not to. Take a look at breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk. On the right hand side of the page there is a 'drug sheet' This gives you a full list of drugs that can be taken while breastfeeding and alternatives if some are not suitable. Hope this helps.
