Hi just feeling in a panic as my baby is lower in(her red book) centile graph of her weight! And according to her legnth am sure she should be by now 18lbs but am just breast feeding .

Also am having a fest time issues with my sisters we don't get on actually my two younger sisters don't want anything to do with me or my kids.... They have kids too... but my sisters stress me out they are so critical towards me and judgemental I feel so trapped with their negative attitudes....I feel cuz of these issues my breast milk ain't been producing enough but when am away from them am sooo much happier but get emotional of my family pressures but do love them . But also get fed up with them . Plze help on this topic am very sentimental over this n sensitive too.

Hey, have you spoken to a health visitor bout this? They can vary on the centile chart and it is usually no problems. My friend had a 9lb 9oz boy and he was originally at 91st centile and fell to 75th but health visitors had no concerns. How long is ur little one going between feeds and is she content. I really dont think it is anything to worry about, i inagine she is getting more active now too so may be burning off some energy. If ur concerned still chat to a health vistor at ur local weigh in clinic x

Yes I have spoken to my midwife they say its prity normal to drop weight... And that she looks content n happy so it's k but to come and visit the baby Clinique every two weeks ... But am just thinking n being paranoid I assume as my close friend told but it's better to b sure then not knowing

She is being more active each day but still sleeps alot and I feed her really good one to hour n half in early hours then late morning n there after on demand I tried bottle feed with SMa but she don't like bottle

Stress can affect ur milk how much weight has she lost.? My daughter was nearly 10lb and they told me I would have to Start feeding her at 3 months rather than 4.. I would have a chat to ur health visitor and see what they say..all the best x

How old is ur baby now? How often has she been weighed?

Hav u let someone else giv bottle as she won't take from u as she can probably smell ur milk...I get my mil or bf to giv bottle and was a fuss at first but he is better now.

Most babies' weights go down soon after they are born, something to do with their first poos being really heavy. My daughter lost 5% of her birth weight & we were told that was fine - anything up to 10% is normal was what we were told.
