bleeding again?

OK should I be worried. I stopped bleeding at around 4 weeks. Just over a week later had my period which was fine, had post natal check which was fine, and had the contraceptive injection the same afternoon. that was nearly 2 weeks ago, but last few days been bleeding again - could it be side effect of injection or should I get it checked? x

Could be side effect of the injection. I had it when I was about 18 and stopped bleeding completely. Then I had it again at 22/23 had had very very light bleeding for months!! See how it goes, you may need a course of the pill to get you regulated xx

I was on the injection a bleed for 4 months solid it can take your body up to 9 month to accept the extra hormone your injecting into ypur body. Be sure you keep your doctor informed if your bleeding continues as everyone is different they gave me a tablet called tranzamic acids to take to slow the blood flow down but it doesn't completely stop. You may end up on iron if you bleed to long. Xx

Thanks. Been on iron before when pregnant as have low bp, hoping stops before need that, supposed to have a smear next week so will be calling docs before then if not stopped x

I went to have my smear few weeks ago but they wudnt do it as parantly u r meant to wait 12 weeks after giving birth so maybe check b4 u go x

Well I thought that, but doc wanted me in as soon as. Normally a nurse that does it too, hasn't said there's anything need to check just that needed done x
