Hi there I had my GTT around the same time as yours it was horrible drinking that warm disgusting Lucozide and just like you felt sluggish and nauseous. Good luck I am 19+1

Ohh I didnt mind the lucozade I enjoyed it lol. I dnt no if ots coz I went so long without food that's done it. Xx

Hi! I never had a GTT but I've heard they can be nasty!!

Can you keep food down? Maybe have some mint tea to settle your stomach (if you like it) and habe some plain food such a toast.

If you are still not right after another day or 2 then I'd give your gp or midwife a call

X

Is that workin for you? Strawberry milkshake seems to help me but it aint workin today :-(

Yes it's brilliant because raw almonds are giving me the nutrition and vitamins that I am lacking as I feel nauseous a lot and can not stomach food and the pineapple is very refreshing and helps with indigestion

Thats what I was thinkin

I had 2 gtt tests one at 14 weeks and one at 28 weeks. .they r not the most enjoyable things. I didnt feel great after mine but I actually think it was general pregnancy rather than the gtt test..I was sick for 9 months straight.

Why did they offer you the triple test?

Definitely not, they have never offered me the GTT in my previous pregnancies but my last bb was big so they thought maybe I had Gestational diabetes hopefully they won't repeat it again
