When is it normal to start getting Braxton hicks?

I started getting mine very mildly at the bottom of my bump from 20 weeks and they escalated as time went on, to stronger and full bump tightenings

I've noticed a few ppl saying on here from quite early they were experiencing Braxton hicks, I'm now 29 weeks and not felt a thing, was just woundering when I can expect to feel them. Thanks xx

I think everyone is different. Quite a lot of people seem to say they get them around 34-36 weeks sometimes later than that. There's not really a particular time frame for it x

I didn't have any first time around - not that I noticed anyway. Just started having contractions. A great quote I saw the other day "normal is just a setting on the washing machine".

Haha! That's good! So true with pregnancy.....nothing is ever standard!

I am 32 weeks and i have been getting them on and off all week i had them alot more with my son Aaron everyone is different.

There is another thread on this site where people are saying they never had them! I'm 37 weeks today and not had any. Don't think it's anything to worry about - not like the baby will stay in there if you don't have them! Good luck
