Hello lovely mums! Well I'm feeling the weeks are fairly slowing down, I'm now 35+3 and soooo desperate to meet my little one! Getting impatient seeing all these gorgeous pics of everyone's newborns! I have the house completely organised and his room is finished, which if I do say so myself looks fantastic! And I have cleaned my house to about an inch of its life for about the 5th time so I am now extremely bored! To make it worse I'm on my own as my partner is away on his last offshore trip before the little man arrives! But he will be back next week so looking forward to a bit of company! Funnily enough I'm feeling fantastic and my back pain has gone but has been replaced by heartburn.. And very bad heartburn! Have managed it with rice pudding recommended by a friend and I am now craving the stuff all the time!
I had my check at midwife today and everything was fantastic! She said I am 4/5th engaged (being a lot in the way the midwives do it here)and she said that she reckons that he will be here before his due date! I didn't say anything but I didn't really think she could predict that kind of thing!! Is it normal to be only 35 weeks and so engaged? She didn't really say anything to it!
I hope everyone is doing well

Glad you feeling so good at mo. Don't think they can say when babys going to arrive. I was told from day 1 was going to be early, in fact at one point thought they'd induce me early and little man ended up arriving only 2 days before due. Also he was very low in my pelvis from 34 weeks but kept moving in and out right up until the day he was born. So would take the advice with a pinch of salt but coming a bit early wouldn't be to bad. You start getting so impatient to meet them the last few weeks, and with good reason. Once they arrive you know they are perfect and wonder how life was full before x
I was about the same as you by 36 weeks and having pains, contractions on and off and a whole host of other early labour signs. Midwife was adamant baby was coming v soon.......4 sweeps later and 5 weeks later he came lol!! A week overdue....the little blighter! They can't predict but that said, I hope they are right with you and your bubba comes soon to keep you company xx
