Thanks I thought would have both done at same time as I'm a big baby plus I'm now 31 weeks so wanted it asap. I just hope the jabs are the best thing as I know they are quite controversial still. X

I think both the jabs are definitely worth it to protect your baby :-) I had mine separately. Flu jab I had no side effects at all. Whooping cough jab I had a bit of a swollen arm and the next day had some flu like symptoms. They all went pretty quickly and my baby boy was happy and kicking/wriggling away throughout :D good luck with the jabs.....be brave ;-) x

Had both yesterday and no side effects at all - feel fine. Definitely worth it to protect your baby.

Whooping cough just left my arm tender for a few days, no side affects from flu one!

Hey, agree with all comments from the ladies. Only advice was whooping cough left my arm quite sore for a few days. I got mine in left arm as right handed however forgot that I was sleeping mostly on my left side which made me uncomfortable for a few nights! Maybe get WC jab in right arm!

Same here, had mine two days ago. I thought I'd get them to put it in the left arm as I'm right-handed but now regret it as with sleeping on the left it has been sore the last couple of nights. Very quick injection, didn't even realise she'd done it, and no concerns at all. I often react to injections but this one was really no problem at all apart from the sore arm now. So the only thing I'd advise is to have it in your right arm.

Had my whooping cough a few weeks ago and didnt even realise the nurse had done it. Had a bit of a sore arm where the injection had gone in for a couple of days and that was it.

Had both mine done first thing this morning, one in each arm. Have spent the rest of the day painting the nursery. No bother :)

Had both if mine done over 2 weeks ago at 31 weeks & it was fine. I have non problem with jags or needles though, but hardly notice the nurse even administering them! Apart from a slight flu like fever and feeling a little groggy a couple of hours after I was fine. My right arm (Whooping cough arm) had a red raised bump at injection site and felt very stiff and heavy for a good few days, which was fine seeing as I'm used to sleeping on my left side these days! Hope this helps & hopefully more people get these vaccinations! x

Had both jabs a few weeks ago. Whooping cough one made my arm a bit sore for a couple of days but nothing major, flu no reaction at all. Definitely worth doing both for you and baby - much better than either of you getting either condition.

Had them both done :-) my arms are both feeling sore and surprisingly from peoples comments my right side (flu jab) is the most painful so far rather than whopping cough. I'm glad I've had it done now. Thanks for all ur comments x
