Y'day I had the whooping cough vaccine. Today I have a huge red lump/swelling on my arm and its bright red and v hot. Is this normal? Thx

Yh I had that too 
I had it 2 days ago - still have a red hard lump on the top of my arm - normal reaction. Unless the swelling is severe and doesn't disappear in the next couple of days, in which case see your GP/nurse, sounds like you're fine.
Yep, I had a raised red lump for over a week! Then it went really itchy for a day, then just disappeared.
Strange how the body reacts. Worth it to protect baby though
