Oh my poor OH. Today he got last thing we needed for baby's bag. A pack of new born nappies. He was so proud of the fact that we had our whole first weeks worth of nappies..... Should have seen his face when I said that's only going to last us a few days. He was convinced that a small baby can't make THAT much mess surely! When said how many did he think they used he said 'well maybe three a day?' .... oh dear lol x

lol my boyfriend was shocked when I said the newborn pack of 21 I bought from sainsburys wud last 2/3 days if we r lucky. we have found buying nappies on amazon is good as they come in bulk and work out cheaper, I got 250 size 2 for £20 and they r like £7 for 40 or 50 in supermarkets. x

Yh my sister bought me a big box of pampers from amazon for a tenner so I'll def be getting most of mine from there :-)

Might have a look on amazon. Got some reusable ones being given for later on to try, but said I'm most def not fighting on with them at start, esp if I'm not going to be to mobile. Was a pack of 24, just putting the pack in the bag. Been told will be in atleast two days if everything goes right so easier than having him running back and forth, he's not happy at having to leave me at home now when he's at work.

Haha fattyboom, you are so right. Thought mine was quite a modern man until I had to run off to visit my brother in hospital a few months back and had to have a text conversation explaining how the washing machine worked. Got home and he'd said I'd be proud of how well he'd kept flat while I'd been away, and given a thorough clean - didn't point out all the things he'd missed cleaning (including the whole bathroom) x

Lol!! I always have to leave lists for mine!! Which he finds insulting but without which he wouldn't even get out of his chair lol x

At the beginning we used about 12 per day! Also was more when breastfeeding! We got 500 nappies - lasted 9 weeks x

We did that, Cheekymonkey!

Ladies - MASSIVE tip for you: Aldi Mamia nappies! Won multiple awards - tied first place with pampers... £1.69 a pack! Easily as good as pampers, much better than any of the others I tried!

Gotta run - cocktail is here :-)
