I am only 14+6 and have started to get a decent sized bump over the last 2 weeks, but I am finding, especially in the evenings that I feel a bit of pain if I lean back like the skin just above my stomach is tightening. Has anyone else experienced this? I have been guessing it is just growing pains?

yeah,
It sounds like stretching pains to me.
Im simular at times as im 28 wks pregnant now but i seem to notice more things during the evening.
I just put it down to your stomach muscles being stretched & pulled in ways we would never imagine.
I am 30 weeks pregnant now and throughout my whole pregnancy I am experience this kind of pain. Mine is at my lower abdominals at the sides and sometimes it hurts so much I can't walk.
The first time I started to experience this kind of pain was about the same time as you and I was so scared I ended up going to a&e. They checked me and heard baby's heart though didn't say why I am hurting.
Then I had stomach bug so had to go into hospital and spoke to the midwife and she told me it is my muscles and ligaments, as baby is growing they are trying to stretch and make room for my growing baby and within few weeks I should be fine.
Well I still have these pains and I saw my midwife (different from the one I saw in the hospital) two weeks ago for check up and she said my stomach muscles are so strong (I am into fitness big time and still training) this is why I hurt so much and she also couldn't feel baby's head or tell the positioning because of this.
And same like you it hurts more at night especially when I'm relaxing on the sofa or am sleeping at night.
So don't worry too much about it but for your piece of mind talk to your gp/midwife when you see them next
Thanks guys, that's really reassuring. I am seeing my midwife today so will mention it Was just so surprised to be feeling this way at just under 16 weeks, but everyone seems to think I am getting quite large. I fear I may end up the size of a whale by the end of this!!!
