am i pregnant? help

hi guys..

on my 8th day now since i was due on, i done a test on the day i was due and it come back neg done it again day after still neg.. dont know when i should do one, i know some people get a poss on there 3rd week over due and i cant wait that long ahaa.

any advice??

Have you managed to contact your G.P to make an appointment to get your bloods done ?

There could be many factors & reasons as to why you haven't had a period "pregnancy being the most common"

The best possible way left is to see what your bloods say

yeahh i havent done that yet.. im actually away from home atm and going back saturday but i dont wanna wait till then

I see, Yeah it's difficult when your away from home & you just wanna know what's going on. I've done that before, turned out I wasn't pregnant at that time.

It seems as of you'll just have to do something to try & get your mind way from the issue then once you get home you can start your mission.

yeah just abit of a pain.. my friend has had a child and her first sign was her discharge she was getting she described it as a watery white liquid looked like wtered down pva glue lool, i am getting that but dont wanna think i am just incase lool

Hi Abifranks - what test did you use? I don't know myself but have heard that some are considerably more accurate than others so maybe try a different test if you don't want to wait until next week

it was a cheap coop test.. i might have to go buy another one maybe wait till 10th day over due

I think most people on here seem to recommend Clear blue as being accurate but a bit pricier - good luck

Yes they do vary in accuracy due to how sensitive the individual test is, generally the more expensive ones are more sensitive/accurate early on. You can get early response ones that can detect as early as 4 days before you're due your period, but it just depends how much pregnancy hormones your body is producing. Try researching First Response pregnancy tests. Even 8 days late it may be that your hormone levels just haven't reached a high enough level to be picked up yet.

thanks.. just dont know if i should wait abit longer instead of keep havin to spend alot of money on tests lol. i know some people had to wait 3 weeks! dont wanna have to wait that long lol

See your gp. When I was younger I went for ten months without a period and I knew I wasn't pregnant but there can be many factors making your period late so your gp is your best bet to be sure either way.

Hey I'm in the same boat at the moment I've missed a period 1st 1 in months since my miscarriage last month I should of been due on the 1/08/13 I have calculated and if I am I'll be 4 weeks 5 days I haven't done a test as I'm scared ill miscarriage again when do u all think I should test I have a 4 year old son x
