Waxing and hair removal creams are both safe to use in pregnancy - you must make sure to do a patch test first though, even if its a brand you are usually fine with as pregnancy causes so many changes, especially down below.

Practically speaking, it's not easy! Either go to a salon or use a hand mirror as your bump grows to keep things neat. Don't stress if you can't maintain your normal standards - I'm sure whoever delivers your baby will have seen much much worse ;-) x

Yes, I agree with the last comment about doing a patch test first as during pregnancy our skin can have crazy, adverse reactions to things that would normally never bother us.

Bearing in mind it's a Lil difficult to see what's going on "down there" are you sure it's a good idea to use hair removal creams or wax.

I personally feel very un-comfortable when my vaginal hair gets a bit thick so I usually take a nice warm bath & use an disposable razor, "Not the best choice but I'd rather use that than run the risk of leaving any remaining cream / wax behind in hidden areas"

xx

They r safe but I hav been goingvto a salon and will go before am due to give birth am 34 week s tomorrow but letting someone else do it is so much easier and less mucking around. I personally dont think hair removal cream does a very good job and shop bought wax is rubbish compared to salons so thts why I make tht decision. U hav to hav a lot of patience as if u do it urself unless u hav a mirror u hav to b super flexible

Well my wife must be blessed ! She's 22 wks and was complaining about the same thing ..... Didn't see why we should spend extra money, so i made it a romantic bath night... rolled my sleeves up... Got the razor out and got stuck in ! Think I've got a job for life now as had to do legs as well !

Yes she is truly blessed !!

As much as i love my other half i wouldnt let him anywhere near me with a razor (espicially in the vaginal area) LOL

Well done though xx :-)

i mentioned it to my partner as i can no longer see that area and have ended up with a few nips from a razor, i am going to leave it as long as possible till i cant manage anymore then ask him to do it. Should be fun tho as he thinks its great that he can get away with a few little laughs ie/ odd flip flops as i cant see them and i have lots of the same in different colours, im a bit worried i'll end up with a P (for his name) shaped into my area
