so im 32 weeks pregnant. moving into my house and trying to hard to decorate it all mostly by myself.

my mum has flown to Greece for 2 weeks so im literally alone now. i have had a doctors appointment this morning as i know i have been overdoing it all week and i have come down with a chest infection.

saturday i had a bath after doing the sanding down of the walls, and as i lay down i felt the baby was pushed so low down, that i had a really bad pain and i couldnt pull myself back up!

since then that low pain in my pelvis has been there and a stitch in my side and a sharp shooting pain in my flower (sorry). babys still active but not as much.

i had a check up today. given penicillin for the chest infection but been told my mucus plug is eroding so birth can be imminent.

should i pop to MUI and get it checked properly?

Gosh you have been over doing it.. is there no one else you could ask to help decorate? when i hit the nesting period i went mad with cleaning, i could have drank the cleaning products i was that addicted to it :( i cleaned the walls and doors, my house was spotless, tho you wana see it now lol... but it was all stuff i could manage alone. even then there were days i felt i had over did it and needed to rest the following day..

Landing a chest infection was probably a sign you should take it easy for a while, I developed high blood pressure because i stressed myself out and over did it and was put on best rest or would have been admitted :( I would pop in to MUI and just get checked out.. better safe than sorry :) Take Care xx

the words of the doctor was 'i think you should pack your hospital bag ready'. i looked at her silly and asked why and she said birth is imminent if you carry on.

i scrubbed floors, doors, cupboards. and im still doing it daily. 2 days last wekk i was up on a ladder scrapping wall paper off the walls.

i know im overdoing it but i want it done before the baby arrives. and the doctor telling me this has made me think more stressful thoughts xx

Hun you need to slow down, dont want little one arriving to early justdo what needs to be done. Your plug can come away weeks before labour starts but in my case with all three babues it was after once contractions started xx pls pls take it easy xx

the baby wont mind which house you bring her/him to as long as you bring her/him healthy. You really dont want to have a premature baby honey. so sit back and keep your feet up - everything can happen later on . after week 36 you would anyways be having a lot of super--human energy (nesting instinct) to do each and every bit of scrapping (and if by that tine you also had your lightening -baby coming downwards, than it would be so much convenient to bend and move around) - so dont worry girl things can wait :)

If you dont take there advice and slow down you are going to have a premature baby. What would be worse not having a clean house or a premature baby wired up to machines in hospital. Sorry to be blunt but you have got to think of the bigger picture.

i know your right and i will slow down. i think the nest stage is trying to take over but it scares me to think that my baby could be 8 weeks early. i wouldnt want that for him as im small so i know he will be very small. x
