How far along are you? Is this your 'show'?
...also, the answer is always the same: if worried 'out of hours', go to hospital and get checked out xxx
Am 6weeks n its not my period its just a orangeish/ Brownish discharger instead of creamy discharge
Go to out of hours docs x
Where's that?
Your nearest out of hours doctor's surgery is sometimes called a "Urgent Care Surgery" depending on where & which area you live in you can usually get about 2 surgery's in or around your area.
At 6 wks pregnant though its still very early stages & this could just be a symptoms of your hormones dealing with not getting a period for 5 + weeks
Hmm alright thanksss, got told Brown discharge is normal n its old blood still gonna look for the place tho
fone nhs 24 they will tell you nearset out of hours doc or hospital
just ring 111 from your phone and the people will take your details and ask about ur symptoms and arrange a doc to call u back or visit if necessary. I had fresh bleed at 8 weeks and the doc phoned back within minutes and told me to go to a&e. I waited 4hrs there and was eventually seen by a lovely doc who referred me to EPU and I was told it was just a haemorrage below the sac (i had a scan done) and to expect several more days of bleeding. It changed to mostly brown discharge and went on for a little over a week.
Try not to stress out but defo get checked out by a doc. itll give u peace of mind if u get answers xx
Hi Daisy - if it is a small amount of brownish blood at this stage of your pregnancy it could be an 'implantation bleed' - when the little embryo has arrived in situ in your womb and is settling into the lining of the womb. Some women do experience a little bit of bloody discharge as you describe at this stage, it usually happens around the time your period would have come so around 4/5 weeks but could be later depending on the usual length of your menstrual cycle. Obviously if you are feeling worried or see fresh looking blood it is worth getting it checked out.
Thanks a lot guysss
