im 38 weeks now and feeling a bit low now I have finished work and sitting around waiting - is this normal? Anyone know of any good groups I can attend to meet new people in this area? Need to get out the house

Its completely normal. If you feel as if you've managed to do everything around the house I.e, all the washing of baby clothes, arrangement of kitchen & baby equipment & etc..... you could try "google-ing" something like ante-natal classes in your area & see what you come up with.

P.s Im sure you've probably done this a million times but check your hospital bag too.

Find your local NCT branch on the nct website and see what they offer - many will run bumps and babes groups which are great and open to all whether an nct member or not. I found this a great way to make new friends with similar age babies.

You dont say where you are unless I am being thick but yes NCT and your local childrens centre should run a bumps and babes and breastfeeding support group both of which you can attend before birth! X
