Am 6 weeks and i can't sleep....

Hi Girls,

I am 6 weeks today and i am feeling so exhausted all the time as i can sleep propertly... Am having tons of weird dreams! I have my viability scan on wednesday... maybe am just a little bit anxious or stressed? I am not really getting any symptoms... apart from sore boobs and feel bloated sometimes... Is that normal? Thanks!!! xxx

when I was 6weeks all I had was abdominal cramps, sore boobs, lots of tiredness. I didnt get the morning sickness or mood swings til half way through 7th week.

Try not to be stressed (I know better said than done) and try as many relaxation techniques as you can. Maybe a nice bubble bath, go for a walk in a park, whatever makes u unwind.

Good luck with the scan and fingers crossed everything is ok for u n bubba :)

Hi I'm 25 weeks but the exhaustion came back cos I'm having problems sleeping, my partner bought me cussing mother & bump sleep mist & I've been using it for a week with a big improvement. He got it in boots & I spray it went I'm getting into bed & it really helps relax me, mite b worth giving it a try otherwise try a bath before bed, not eating too late and a pillow to prop under you. t's totally normal to be really tired. I was kept awake by a mix of excitement and neurosis, but I think bloating kind of keeps you awake. freaky dreams and needing a wee a lot also contributed for me!

Oh and giving up caffeine and booze!

I agree with these ladies, try all the relaxation techniques. A, bit of lavender all if you can cope with the old lady scent. Maybe in a bath, but not too hot a bath, mind you, apparently it's bad for the baby and raises their blood pressure.

Is there no pleasure remaining us? I'd kill just for a soft boiled egg!

I was exactly the same - totally shattered. Disappeared over night at about 13 weeks, which was bliss! Returned at 34 weeks, not as tired as I was in my first trim bit getting close! Two weeks til mat leave... :-D

Hi Ladies, I went to see an expert on Aromatherapy and she suggested not to use Lavender on your first trimester!!! Only to use Cytrus oils like Orange , Neroli and Petigrain... I put some at the weekend and it did wonders!!!! I was sleeping so well...

I however feel not symptoms today ( 7 weeks ) ... Is that normal? Thank you all for your support!! :-)
