sweep....

so this morning i had my final doctors appointment... yay we tried for a sweep but only a finger tip not favourable at all. gutted... my hubby was there to ditract my attention away from it. it was uncomfortable but bearable not painfull at all.

urine and bloods still ok but fluid has reduced again... so im not to go more than a week more so on saturday night midnight ill be induced.... whoop so ill get to see my baby by the 1st july... im sooo excited i can relax on the weekend and do final sorting etc xxx

Wow, a baby by Monday!! Amazing!!

Glad the sweep wasn't too bad, you never know it might have done the trick. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Hun. I was so nervous this morning but it really isn't that bad and baby is still not engaged little monkey wouldn't keep still either although we got a good view of its face for the first time :-). Think I going to put my my feet up relax and get loads of sleep. Xxx

Best of luck!!ive got a sweep on Monday to get things started hopefully it works otherwise I will have induction at 40+12 days which I find annoyingly too far.......am 40wks this Friday .x

Oo good luck for the sweep then Hun. I'm not convinced mine has done anything baby is just too comfy. it does seem late but that happened with my first boy but just knowing you won't go past that date is good and hopefully your stretch and sweep will go well and you won't wait too long.. Xx

Glad that it went ok, although sorry it wasn't as effective as you hoped, I was thinking if you! Fingers crossed that mine works tomorrow as I am now 41+1. I have tried to fire myself out okay as I had more energy but wriggler is having none of it! Really good luck for Monday and let us know if anything happens in the meantime! Did they do a scan at the same time as your sweep? X

oh thanks hun. my fingers are crossed hun for you 41-1 your a trooper can imagine your getting fed up now too. yeah each visit im scanned its practice here in dubai at all hospitals. (international ones) im pretty sure it hasnt worked ive had a dull ache since and nothing more im hoping to hold out till induction only two days left for kids ar school and i want to wee there award ceromony. good luck tmrw lovely xx
