My partner thinks im 2weeks further on then what im being told.

Been toldim 16+1 and the baby is big, length and he has a big tummy etc. Will they possibly chane my due date at the 20 week scan or will it not matter, im self employed so i need to know for maternity pay reasons.

No - they don't (usually) change your date. X

If you hAd a dating scan at roughly twelve weeks, this is when they would change your dates depending on the size of the baby. They did this with me but I have never heard of them changing your due date as after fourteen weeks as they don't measure the length of the baby after then as baby is starting to curl up and isn't as accurate x

My baby was curled up at 12weeks scan and at 20week scan i was measuring 2weeks ahead but still got same date they gave me from 12week scan x

I went for my 20 weeks scan fri and the sonographer said they always stick to the date from ur 12 week scan and when u have ur 20 week scan they will just say its big or small for whatever week u are...x

My baby measures 1.5-2 weeks bigger but they kept the date the same, you can go 2 weeks over anyway.. I don't pay much attention. Baby will come when he's ready xx
