Need some advice..

Hi, so I've been on the pill for a year. A normally take a tray then a week off and then repeat but my doctor said take 3 trays then a break.. I'm now on that break and no sign of a period. It's been nearly two weeks and all I feel is fat and sick and I just want to eat sweets. Everything else smells of garlic and makes me gag.

My boyfriend wears protection too, so it's not like there's a large chance I missed a pill and had unprotected sex.

I was wondering the best time to take a test? Or if someone has had a similar experience and its just the fact I took the pill for a longer period of time

when I doubled up or in ur case 3 in a row my period was all over the place to be honest and I wish that when the dr told me to do this I hadn't listened. If it has been two weeks then theres no harm going out to buy a test, get a clear blue and see what it says but if u do its best to take test first thing in morning with ur first wee of day, but by the sounds of things if u have been on the pill and I take it ur boyfriend was wearing a condom then sounds like u were safe but do a test and see what it says, no harm in it.

I got 'caught' on the pill. I wouldn't bother with a test as sometimes if you have a chemical pregnancy and on the pill it can show a positive result. Ring your GP and ask them to take a blood test and that way you will know for sure if you are pregnant or not.
