My midwife advised me to wait until the stitches and dressing had come off. I've been having baths ever since using bath foam and, so far, there haven't been any negative side effects. The stitches came out last Tuesday. I've been lucky that the scar has been healing well. If you're worried check with your midwife or health visitor but like Babymother said, unless you've been told not to, I would imagine you should be fine. You could always try a bath without any bath foam if you were worried.
