Don't worry! That you don't feel the movements yet doesn't mean there aren't any. I felt my baby move for the first time when I was 20+ weeks, felt like a little gas bubble. But I didn't start to feel regular, daily movements before I was 23/24 weeks. Every pregnancy is different and there is no common rule to it, so try not to be worried by people telling you what you should or shouldn't have felt by now. Due to heavy belly pain, I had to do a CTG by about 24 weeks, but they couldn't get any clear results because the baby was wriggling around so much and was producing so much noise, but I didn't feel any of the movements! So try to relax and look forward to the time you'll feel your little one every day - it won't be long now anymore!

I didn't feel anything until I was 23/24wks and then it was only random pulse like movements, so i know how you feel, try not to worry!! Newlywed is right, soon you'll be feeling them all the time and its a totally crazy feeling!! Been 10 rounds already this morning (at 28wks now!!). :-)

I was the same. Hadn't felt a single movement by the time of my 20 week scan, and they didn't become obvious until at least a couple of weeks later. They say with your first it can take a bit longer, and also that the baby's position makes a difference. Don't worry! xx

I didn't really feel anything that I was certain was baby until 25-26 weeks, if you have an anterior placenta I think this can make it slightly harder to feel things for sure, there might be a note on you 20 week scan about an anterior placenta. Try not to worry :-)

Hi marleymoo. I'm 20 weeks and not felt anything. I've not even had my 20 week scan yet as booked in late due to lack of availability. But have lots of friends with babies and they said they didn't feel anything until about 24 weeks so I'm not worried. I sometimes wonder if I have felt something but then my stomach does a large growl so prob just wind. It will happen for us both in time! X
