Celebrating 25 years with this 'gifted heart'

Just sharing living twenty-five years with a heart transplant done at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on October 19th, 1994. These many years continue to be filled with a very active life, enjoying family and community, serving in many patient support roles by way of giving back for this donated heart from a stranger who passed it along when they no longer needed it. I share this milestone by way of offering inspiration to those who follow in this life with a transplant challenge either in waiting for one or in dealing with life challenges that come with aging in life both because of the transplant or life in general. Live today the very best you can and celebrate that gift of life each day, offering thanks to that donor whose life you now share in some special way.
