Next month, on December 7th, Kelly and I will be celebrating our 1 year post-transplant anniversary. It seems like this past year has gone by so quickly. Last year due to traveling to Chicago for the surgery and then dealing with my complications, I was unable to really celebrate the holidays. This year I am looking forward to enjoying this time with my family and celebrating the holidays and adding our anniversary to the things we are thankful for!
On December 9th, Kelly and I will be having a get together to celebrate the 1 year mark and to thank all the family and friends who were there for us during this journey. If anyone is in the Chicago area and would like to come celebrate with us, please let me know. Kelly and I love to meet fellow living donors and transplant recipients!
