Sounds really healthy and yummy
They are. You can eat them on their own or with many different things. They stabilise blood sugar a scare good for cholesterol. 🙂🌸

I like Nairn's because they are made with very simple ingredients. They do lots of different types, I like the finely milled ones. Yum! 😊🌸
I used to have them for lunch when I was working but the cheese I had with them probably counteracted the good work😁🐰
As long as you don't eat too much cheese, it would be very healthy. Good to have protein to keep you going. 🙂🌸

I love pistachios. They are full of protein. Unfortunately, I broke a tooth eating them, so I am a bit wary now. 🤔🌸

So do I, in the summer I go to the park and share them with the squirrels, they are fond of then too🙂😘
I can't remember if I told you this, but I raised a baby squirrel from when it weighed 2ozs to full grown. He used to sleep inside my shirt when he was tiny. He even slept there when I went out and on buses etc. He loved hazelnuts. We didn't have such exotic nuts as pistachios back then. 😊🌸

By a coincidence I was able to write personally to David Attenborough to get advice on possible release. He was making Life on Earth at the time. He wrote back several pages of advice. We followed it and Justin, (the squirrel,) was released deep in the forests of Virginia Water. I hope his descendants are still there. 🙂🌸

My fantasy snack is great big hunks of milk chocolate. My reality snack is Greek yogurt called '2Good'.
Hate to say this Byt, Dried fruit is the worst you can eat...check the sugar content.

I have Magic Spoon cereal. There is no sugar in it. It's high-protein, low-carb, no grain. And, it tastes and has the texture of kids cereal. I have it with unsweetened almond milk. It comes in fruity, frosted, blueberry, cocoa, those are the one's i've tried. I think there's cinnamon, and peanut butter? I don't usually like sweets at all, but this stuff takes me back to childhood, without the bad stuff in it.

my favorite snacks are cheese snack mix. By the way, speaking of snacks, I've been itching to say something about baked goods. I'm 73 years old and never was interested in sweets, however, for the first time I decided to try my hand at baking. Wow! I've been shocked and stunned at how much sugar is in cookies and cakes! I had no clue it took so much sugar to make cookies and other things.

I made some orange cake which was wonderful. To be safe, I gave half to my neighbors. It was so good I was afraid I'd eat too much!

It's soooo good! I use freshly squeezed orange juice - with the pulp for extra flavor - and orange zest. I gave a slice to the maintenance guy who was reluctant to take it. Next time he saw me he was driving his golf cart around the property and made a u-turn to tell me how good the cake was. I gave a slice to the mail carrier. She asked for the recipe. And other people enjoyed it, too. People love it.
