I don't know about you, but I successfully rounded out my 2020 BINGO card:
*Pandemic - I had COVID in March; My sister-in-law and her whole family are currently infected.
*Job Loss- Lost my job in August.
*Financial Strain- See above for "Job Loss."
*Familial Strife - Screaming and fighting and cops, oh my!
*Soul-Crushing Heartbreak - Let's not even go there...
Your 2021 predictions don't have to be resolutions. They don't even have to be realistic.
Will the future be bright? Will it be shiny? Will it have open restaurants that I can actually eat at instead of quickly grabbing takeout that gets cold by the time I get home? Let's dream big 😊

Look online and see how many meals can be made before hand in a slow cooker. I miss restaurants, but we can still go out and walk and relax in front of what ever on tele. I used to go out every day, as I am retired, my husband and I sat on "New Years Eve" we watched "Skyfall" seen it before, but it is a good . No point in going to bed, so many fireworks, which I think is a waste of money. We called all my in laws, my brother the only one I call, the only member of my large family who talks to me, goes to bed early. So I was a bit sad, but heres to a happier new year, good health and keep safe.

My post is intended to be positive and lighthearted. We have had such a rough time the past 12 months that I wanted to give people an opportunity to look forward, use their imaginations and make hopeful "predictions."
I am sorry that you feel this way about the coming year. For the rest of us, this is a chance to start anew and get to a better place. You are welcome to join us if you ever tire of your doom and gloom outlook.
2021 will be a year of many changes, for many people! COVID is not just going to disappear, as being a threat, just because there are vaccines, around the world! It will be a year of continuous adjustment, where our patience, will continue to run thin, as has been the case in 2020! In the USA, with the continued divisiveness, where the government will not work together for the good of what’s best for our nation, and it’s citizens, there will continue to be deep rifts, throughout the country, in my opinion! So, I can’t paint a rosy picture, as a prediction, as much as I wish I could! We need to brace ourselves for a tough year, again, in 2021!

You are so amazing. Than you for reminding me of the little normalcies that I am quickly forgetting- Getting dressed up, going shopping, driving places that our outside of my normal vicinity, singing (I only do this alone in my car and with nowhere to drive... no singing....), and no more maskne!!
Our hopes seem to be abandoned on Mars while we are stranded on Venus, but this year, I hope with all my might that everything converges back on Earth so that we can be whole again 😊

I watched Tom Hanks in Castaway last night on tv, and realised that man only has man and hope to survive, My school motto was in latin, transcribed as ‘to the stars’, supposedly motivational in levels of excellence and personal development. Yeah, probably spend too much time thinking, I went out for a long walk yesterday whilst it was snowing. I live in the highest point for my county, and it is usually colder than surrounding areas.my mask and hat were soaked but I enjoyed myself.I have loads of leaves to gather today as live next to a wood, always hot hard work. I have decided this is the way forward, keep my mind focused on the satisfaction of completion of at least something!
I used to belong to choir, I love singing, nowadays if we go to church we can clap or sway. I miss the singing, but we do have a group of people who sing to us, from a safe distance. I am grateful we can go to church, as I enjoy going. It is only recently I returned, and I am grateful to all my church "family".

I'm predicting that by July the pandemic will be far behind us and the government will apologise for all the mistakes it made in dealing with it, and will offer us all, as compensation, an all expenses paid exotic holiday in a destination of our choosing! As if........! (Was that a pig I just saw flying by?) 🤣🤣🤣. But seriously, I hope that things will be looking and feeling a lot better by mid-year! 🙏

Oooo we should have multiple destinations to accommodate everyone.... New Orleans, yes definitely. Love it there. But also on beaches on both coasts. And each party can be on a different day so you can go to all of them! 😆

I grew up near SF and have still never been inside Alcatraz! I've just seen it passing by from a boat (picture) 😅 And I've never seen snow even though I live a couple hours away from Tahoe. There's a lot to explore here

I am a Tauraus. Trying out new and innovative ideas. I guess i received the vaccine before 2021. 3 days in starting to turn the corner with the pain in my arm from the injection. In 26 days I get the second injection. After that I hope my body will reject the covid virus and that will be success already. REAL SUCCESS to me is everyone will BEAT THE VIRUS!! 💯👍💖

I'm a Capricorn, so I have my shell too 😊 It's weathered, but sturdy, and it's why I'm still alive today. It can get so cozy and familiar in that shell though... I do tend to get a lil too comfortable and I need to periodically remind myself to peek out every once in a while and appreciate my surroundings. Not just because I don't want to miss anything, but because I realize now that there are people around who might miss me (though I cannot for the life of me figure out why 😅). I hope that this year, you and I retreat less and enjoy the world around us a whole lot more 💖

Rang my surgery yesterday as not feeling well and to my surprise, my GP said she was about to phone me re my forthcoming vaccination date ...Yeah!!!!
