who are your favourite characters ? story lines? etc

I'm enjoying watching vintage coronation st from 1998 at the moment as it brings back memories from when I was 21!

I am not sure if I watched it all those years ago, am 63 now, miss Derek, he and Mavis were terrific, as were Bet and Alec and Jack and Vera.
